ADA Compliance

Title VI Compliance

The Salvation Army Knoxville Area Command assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. The Salvation Army further assures every effort will be made to ensure nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities, whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not.


LEP Compliance

The Salvation Army Knoxville Area Command is committed to establish and maintaining practices that will ensure meaningful access to the organization’s services by persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).  It is the policy of The Salvation Army to ensure that no person is denied access to services and benefits as the result of the inability or limited ability to communicate in the English language.
